True. The NetBSD OS defends itself perfectly. And until NetBSD project
neither is not sending a lot of mail on own paper with logo on it, nor is 
not as much media visible as IBM or McDonald or Cisco, the new logo
won't have much impact on public awareness. But maybe, one day... 

And a thought about political corectness: there are many logos, emblems
or crests which involve beasts (for example, Peugeot -european car
manufacturer - has some scary creature, England has lions, etc.) - I
don't think that BSD daemon would be so offending. I also agree that
daemon is not good choice for logo (the old NetBSD picture is nice).
