Indeed. Two comments:

1) I didn't threaten him by law, just point out that he's violating
   copyright law
2) I didn't insist on him taking the site down, only put my name
   back in and give proper credit (i.e. stick to the license I put
   my software under... "because of of certain people, programming isn't
   much fun anymore" - how true :/)
