Sure, but BSD has always had a more "open" licence than GPL'd stuff, so
we might as well promote standards that are the same way. (Ironically
enough, the GPL promotes "free" as in "free beer," not "free speech,"
though for some reason I can't comprehend many GPL advocates say exactly
the opposite. The license restricts what you can do with the software
in order to make sure that you can always get the source code without
paying money.)
