Once upon a time Gilbert Fernandes proclaimed:

You don't need many resources to run the client.  In fact, you probably won't even
notice that the client is running.  I run it on all my machines (idle or not), and
the load average doesn't go above 1.15.  So you won't notice any slowdown unless you
run it on a 486 or something.
