While I do share your impression of the original post, maybe you
should have removed the poor guys address from the recipiant list of
your response?  It's not very polite to laugh somebody in the face,
even _if_ they happen to behave in a very silly way.  After all, he
called you a RESPECTED PERSON, didn't he?  ;-)
