...and no doubt this is despite living a country that is soveriegn because
the US either fought off their enemies, or rebuilt them with huge sums
of money that was never repaid.  Do you really want to discuss this sort
of thing here?  If you do, at least name another country, even one,
that has done this for someone else.  Then we can start comparing the
relative offensiveness of possible logos.

It looks to me like people are really grasping at straws here and the
irony is very thick.  Quick, raise your hand if you know where Americans
came from?  Anyone?

Design a logo, and if it is truly better than the current image, I have
no doubt people will accept it.  

I also have no doubt someone will be offended, but that shouldn't
stop you.
