One really good piece of documentation would be how to properly configure
a system for dialup use. Most UNIX software was written to assume a
24/7 real network connection, and there are issues to deal with when
you are only on a temporary IP address/connection.
There needs to be a good and authoritative document on how to set
things up for dynamic networking:
* sendmail
* local domain naming and setup
* local DNS with cache and forwarding
* mail between machines on a home LAN
...that sort of thing. Of course, this would be a useful thing for
any UNIX system, but if included with NetBSD others could still use it
for reference.
