I think Linux is great, but I can point out some anecdotal commentary
that may be interesting.  A friend of mine noticed that under heavy i/o,
Linux's audio loses.   NetBSD seems to have better "audio latency" as
he put it.

I have never noticed this myself, and I have no idea how anyone could
actually measure audio latency.
