The class mostly covers Linux -- but I am trying to make sure that
most of the subject material is generic (applies to BSD as well). In fact,
I installed NetBSD on all of the students workstations for their first
introduction to Unix-like systems.

I didn't have much time, but I ended up showing KDE2 with its GUI (control
panel?) for configurations and showed Konqueror (at NBA.com). Thanks to
everyone for the various ideas for showing what NetBSD can do. I have five
class sessions left, so I'll be sure to highlight NetBSD some more.
