Having worn my "Iwo daemon" shirt to a few places: the current shirt graphic
is too small/black-heavy/complex to be visually parsed by people who are not
familiar with the design, and they don't make the connection with the
classic Iwo Jima picture. I've had to explain it more often than not.
I really like the "Iwo daemon" concept; it's incredibly appropriate.
But to improve the graphic communication of the T-shirt version, we
could investigate the following:
- use more square area, and ink it differently so things stand out.
- more direct parody of the classic Iwo Jima photo.
- just enough color so it's easier to distinguish things.
Also, the port list on the back of the shirt probably should end with
BUGS
