As if you needed an invitation... ;-)

An article in the October 1999 ;login mentioned NetBSD, in
unflattering terms, and was noted here.

I replied, and I guess the editors decided to use my comments
in the Feb 2000 issue. I haven't seen it yet, but the messages
from advocates of other OSs have started coming in...

If you have any criticisms of comments I made, please let me
know so I can be sure to clarify them in any replies I send
out.

I certainly didn't intend to offend any other project, and I
thought I was careful and fair, but others may not. Please
highlight any factual errors.
