Actually, memory isn't an issue.  I should have used "dedicated"
rather than "embedded."

Needless to say, I'm biased tword NetBSD.  But I have a feeling that
we've ignored things like threads too long, and now it's too late in
the game to make a show.  But I'm working on that.
