For the record, I don't think NetBSD is losing mass.  But I think it
has barely maintained critical mass for the past several years.

NetBSD has held its own for a very long time.  But, I'd like to see it
do more than that, and I'm afraid that will require some changes in
people's attitude to being the same just for sameness's sake, and not
reinventing a different shaped wheel when a reasonable one already
exists.
