"vaguely insecure" meaning "no one is aware of any holes".  One of my users
runs an eggdrop bot, with permission from the server admins.  It's on our
NetBSD box.  IRC kiddies attack constantly.

They can degrade our net feed to the point of irrelevance.

They can't actually affect the box.
