Folks,

If you're looking for exposure, may I propose that you help DaemonNews
with some material? We don't have the hit rate of Wired or Slashdot, but
it's a start...

I'm looking for recent news for the news column. Last month, I had
Ignatios Souvatzis send in some items last month, but nothing since.

If items appear too small and look like they can't make a standalone
article, I'm going to put it in a new column tentatively called "the
commit log", as a list of one-liners. At least that way they get
mentioned.

I have no shortage of FreeBSDers sending me stuff and, to a lesser extent,
the OpenBSD folks send me stuff but I have nothing from NetBSD except for
the "mom-ready" column for "BSD in the press", and Herb Peyerl's
resignation announcement. Ideally I'd like a NetBSD correspondent who's
more in touch with the project that yours truly.

If news is not your bag, Daemon News is always looking for technical
articles, either "under the hood" technical stuff or "newbie's corner"
introductory tutorials. Or pick your own topic and run with it...

Regards
