Ah. That sounds like 1.0--except with slightly more recent binaries...

Umm. The instructions are basically the same, but there are much more
recent binaries. You're right that we need to update the documentation.
It's on my list somewhere. Someone just yesterday voluteered to work on
the FAQ and bring it up to date again.
One of the recent changes is a migration from macbsd-general and
macbsd-development to port-mac68k. I suggest that you subscribe
to that list and direct any further questions to it.
