I have found that a rather simple way to run SLIP is to use the NetBSD
version of dip (the Linux slip program) that is available somewhere on
ftp.netbsd.org. Dip is fairly easy to use and the package comes with
example scripts which are quickly customizable. If you actually need to
use PPP, someone had posted earlier a series of scripts which can be used
with chat to make a PPP connection. If anyone wants them, mail me and I
think that I still have them saved somewhere.
