Well, there was a certain purpose in compiling it myself but not when it takes
hours. :) I think I did manage to get the binary compiled before I got your
suggestion but not all of the modules. I left it going over night and got some
kind of SCSI timeouts, would up in the debugger. I keep forgetting to set the
time and date when I boot, so makes gets confused and recompiles everything. I
think that is fixed in current kernel but I would like to get mail and stuff
working before I upgrade. I will check out the amiga archives at the corrected
address. Thanks.
