In my trial and error quest to get MacBSD to work
I tried the MRG kernel- which told me that for all
the features of the kernel to work I needed
version 1.6 of the booter. I have checked many FTP
sites for this but to no avail.

(I haven't checked sun-lamp directly,
since it's always busy or down,
but I have checked it's mirrors.)

Where is v.1.6? Is it real?
Is there other new stuff which
is hidden from mortal sight;
For only the gods to ponder?

Interstingly, the MRG kernel got farther
than any other on my IIsi; most of the way
through the boot sequence - successfully
echoed to serial - which didn't happen for
either of the other 2 kernels I tried.
(don't have exact details right now)
