every kernel i compile from my sources, with the patches in 'README.LATE'
from cray-ymp, crashes upon trying to start init. my sources are 1.0.
vm_fault(da000, 20d92000, 1, 0) -> 1
type 8, code [mmu,,ssw]: 401074d
trap type 8, code = 401074d, v = 20d920e1
pid = 3, pc = 20000000, ps = 0000, sfc = 001, dfc = 001
the trace is:
_Debugger(1221c,7cc7d,fffffdbc,8,fffffdc0) + 6
_panic(7cc7d,0,fffffe04,7d124,8) + 34
_panictrap(8,401074d,20d920e1,fffffe58,5a7400) + 216
_trap(8,401074d,20d920e1) + 31a
_adderr(?)
_chgproccnt(0,1) + f0
_fork1(5a7400,0,ffffff7c,ffffffa4,7d5be) + 54
_fork(5a7400,fffff84,ffffff7c) + e
_syscall(2) + 104
_trap0() + e
before printing the copyright message the kernel spews a lot of:
Low [...]
and
Log [...]
messages (sorry, they scroll off).
as well as complaining about my Nubus ranges.
the final message is
get_mapping(): no interal video
Video address = 0xfee08040
Weird mapping starts at 0x0
Length = 0x0 (0) bytes
the kernel autoconf the internal video.
i pulled out the external video, with no effect.
somehow i don't think this was *quite* ready to be called 1.0.
what am i missing?
