I was tring to get to the flow control via the cf and sf commands in
/etc/printcap when I first asked about it for my Epson FX80/Orange micro
printer.  Should I take the above to mean that the tty control falgs are
ignored by the serial driver?  If so, I also expect that many modems should
not work correctly either. :(

I don't believe this to be the case as I have (to date unsuccessfully) changed
these flags and seen different results.  Often hanging lpd completely.
lpc> and kill could not be used to remove the hung lpd.

The man pages have not been much help to me either as they sent you to an
include file which does nothing except include another file.  This second
file was also confusing as there were two to three different areas defining
flags with bit values in the correct range.
