Question out of the blue. Does anyone know of any programs that access
the Macintosh floppy drives at a low level (bypassing ROM and System)?

I have some documentation on the IWM, but scarcely any on the SWIM.
If anyone knows of a public domain/shareware/freeware/beerware/underwear
program that does low-level floppy access, I'd really like to hear about
it so I can chase down the author ;-)

Thanks!
