has been up 11 days, being a dom0, a few cvs update and bob runs, but no
X11 at all, and dmesg/top:

  total memory = 10000 MB

  Memory: 3456M Act, 468K Inact, 19M Wired, 113M Exec, 3344M File, 1081M Free

which probably isn't that helpful, except as a "no X, no trouble"
datapoint.
