Spurious acpi lid open/close behaviour on 11.99.6
I thought I'd give a -current kernel & modules a quick test on my old
ThinkPad T14-G1 (previously running 11-RC5). Userland and packages
unchanged, just updated bootx64.efi, kernel & modules)
Everything pretty much works, except for a slow sequence of spurious
acpilid0: lid opened/closed events (and a possible hang on first when
x11 started, though that could have been confusion from the lid
open/close events)
Lid open/close has worked fine on this system and I do not believe I
have ever seen spurious events on earlier NetBSD versions (In my
infinite wisdom I had adjusted powerd/scripts/lid_switch to lock X on
lid closed, which provided extra annoyance)
A sequence from a sample boot would be:
