Testers needed - rge(4) update
I've just completed a new port of OpenBSD's rge(4) driver. essentially
synching with their HEAD as of today. Changes include support for the
RealTek 8127 chip, as well as the 0x64a00000 variant of the RTL 8126.
There are also some substantial updates to the 8125 microcode and some
"structural" changes. (See OpenBSD's CVS-Web for more details at
https://cvsweb.openbsd.org/)
The new driver works well with my RTL 8126-2, but I would like to get
the other chips/variants tested to make sure I haven't broken anything
that used to work. If you're interested in helping out, and you can
build your own kernel, please contact me directly for updated driver
code. Just reply to this Email - unicast is fine.
Thanks in advance!
