pserialize(9)

Looking at the sys/pserialize.h header, there is a pserialize_init() 
routine declared.  Yet the man page does not mention this.

Is it necessary to call pserialize_init() after pserialize_create() ? 
Would failure to call pserialize_init() explicitly results in the rump 
test failure I reported earlier? [1]
