Problem with SanDisk Cruzer 32GB USB flash drive?

I recently aquired a SanDisk Cruzer 32GB USB flash drive:

  SDCZ36-032G
  BM1202WZOB

When I plugged it into the following machine:

NetBSD squash.bozonet.ntc 6.0_BETA2 NetBSD 6.0_BETA2 (SQUASH) #46: Tue Jul 17

After severa seconds, the following message was logged:

  Jul 19 10:26:05 squash /netbsd: uhub0: device problem, disabling port 1

Trying the other exposed port produced a similar result:

  Jul 19 10:26:27 squash /netbsd: uhub1: device problem, disabling port 1

I then tried it in another machine:

And as you can see, it attached properly. It worked properly as well.

Maybe this device exceeds the power budget for those ports? Nowhere on
the device's packaging was it stated, but perhaps this is a USB2.0-only
device?

Similar experiences?
