One tricky thing about /dev/random is that /dev/random blocks if there is no entropy, so some tests could well be blocking even though there is nothing wrong with the new code. It would be nice to have a way for atf to consider each test that times out failed but still finish. Or maybe the problem is that so many time out that a global timeout is hit.
