Hmmm, yeah, that's the right command, although I vaguely remember that it might be "write module_verbose_on=1"

OK, I tried it again "write module_verbose_on=1" results in a message:
"nothing written".  Without the "=" it did set the value.  Upon
continuing, there was no additional output.
