Yes. (One of the first things I've checked. ;-))

  $ ls -l /dev/*wd2*
  crw-------  1 root  operator  3, 32 Jan  1 21:52 /dev/rwd2a
  [...]
  brw-------  1 root  operator  0, 47 Jan  1 21:52 /dev/wd2p
