amd64 system crash with radeondrm enabled after update

Hi,

After a kernel-only upgrade from 5.99.27 to 5.99.29 I get a system crash when 
starting X (from pkgsrc) unless I disable radeondrm. Unfortunately, since all 
the action happens behind a blank screen, I have very little information about 
the crash. I presume that I end up in the debugger since typing reboot reboots 
the system (and because it is no longer accessible through the network). 
Attempts at getting a core dump have been unsuccessful. The working 5.99.27 
kernel is from the middle of April. The laptop has no serial ports.

I've attached the output from the startx command (xlog) and also Xorg.log.

Ideas?
