atf ignoring $OBJDIR

It seems that building the compat/external/bsd/atf/lib/libatf-c* stuff 
(as part of a 'build.sh release') is ignoring $OBJDIR and dropping the 
various *.o and *.d and .depend files into the $SRCDIR
