cheese: no webcam output

Hello,

I just tried cheese-2.22.3 (from pkgsrc-2008Q3) on my Lenovo S10.
The webcam is discovered as (netbsd-5/i386):
  uvideo0 at uhub4 port 3 configuration 1 interface 0: BISON Corporation Lenovo
EasyCamera, rev 2.00/14.03, addr 2
video0 at uvideo0: BISON Corporation Lenovo EasyCamera, rev 2.00/14.03, addr 2

What I did then was start cheese and click "take a shot".
The app did a flash effect and a click sound and nothing appeared in the photo
zone.
From the xterm, I can read:
** (cheese:2350): WARNING **: Cannot extract frame (0, 0) from the grid
** (cheese:2350): WARNING **: Cannot extract frame (36, 0) from the grid
** (cheese:2350): WARNING **: Cannot extract frame (72, 0) from the grid

Clicking the "Video" button does not show anything either.

Is it supposed to work or is it to early ?

TIA,
        Jo
