Almost all the 'U' are from cvs Attic and should not have been checked out.

cvs -q up -dP -r netbsd-5 would be better.

I have "update  -d -P" in my .cvsrc, sorry should have mentioned that.

I think the problem might be that these Attic files do actually have a netbsd-5 (and netbsd-5-base) tag - they don't have netbsd-4 tags.
