   You should get an log message about that like:

   bwi0: firmware_open failed on v3/ucode5.fw

   My firmware (and it works for me for BCM4318) is at:  
   /libdata/firmware/bwi/v3/

This probably won't happen if the driver doesn't recognize the MAC
revision.  On the other hand, it does bring up a question:  If a
driver's *_attach routine fails, should it detach the device?  Right
now bwi_attach just returns the error code without doing anything to
the device.
