if you know how to build with xfree it is similar. just make sure you
have up to date xsrc and that there is no MKX11=yes in your make
environment.

you would have used build.sh -x to build XFree86.
build.sh -x

now instead of -x use -V MKXORG=yes to build X.Org.
build.sh -V MKXORG=yes
