amd64 freeze during boot

Hi,

I have a new PC (Dell Inspiron 530) that freezes when booting a -current (as
of today) amd64 or i386 kernel, right after timecounter (in boot -v output).
NetBSD 4.x boots right into sysinst though, so the hardware should be fine.

Any hint where to start looking?  I tried disabling ioapic, acpi, usb, ...
