immediate v6-related crash

On an up-to-date -current kernel (i386, Dell Dimension 8400 with bge
card), I get a reproducible panic shortly after going multi-user:
"in6_cksum: mbuf too short for IPv6 header". It then reboots
immediately, not even dumping core. (I have ddb.onpanic=0.) I'm not
certain exactly where this is happening, since the reboot happens
before I can read the screen, but it's some time after ntpd starts.
