Well, the numbers there seem to look normal.  Average rates
on the ioapic pins for viaide0 channel 0 and nfe0 both
are averaging under 200/s. (While I scped a source
tarball and then extracted it.)

Could a mp_verbose=3D1 dmesg help debug this?  Anything
else?  What about the possibility of interrupts that
aren't disabled at the hardware-level and don't have
installed handlers?

FWIW, Linux and Windows work fine.
