Can you say what atheros chip you have ?  particulary i'm using AR5213 very fine in -current (4.99.45)

Really?  For one it isn't even listed in pcidevs.  Secondly, as
the kernel said

this is a fairly certain sign that the device is indeed not
supported by any driver.

Thirdly, sys/contrib/dev/ath/ah_devid.h doesn't mention product
0x0024.
