I haven't had much free time to isolate the problem.  I often run a
variant of ``pkg_chk -n -u'' on a machine with lots of packages
installed.  Turning on global ASLR causes predictable failures.  I
just updated perl and all dependencies today to see if something
else interfered, however it seems dependent on ASLR on the
/usr/pkg/bin/perl executable.
