Hi there,
maybe I have missed a metro, as the saying go over here, but is there
any plan to upgrade to a newer gcc version soon? It seems to offer
better speed and code quality (as far I can feel using it sometimes).
For example, the same kernel:

-rwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 3673514 Oct 28 09:23 /netbsd
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 3699050 Oct 26 08:13 /onetbsd

/netbsd being compiled with 4.2.1 and /onetbsd with 4.1.3.

That's an i386 plateform, my opinion may be a bit too i386-centric.

Cheers
Vincent
