Hello. I'm trying to use an Atheros based minicpi wireless card under
NetBSD, PCI iD ID 0x001a, and I'm having some issues.
The problem I'm having is that while I can apparently receive traffic
from the network, I seem to be unable to transmit any data. Turning on
transmission debugging reveals that packets are attempting to be sent, but
access points I hav in the vicinity report that they're not seeing any
traffic, and the ath driverreports that it isn't hearing any responses to
its pleas.
My concern is that the hal layer isn't properly setting the transmit
levels on the card and that transmissions just aren't happening.
Does anyone have any suggestions about how I might go about resolving this
issue? I've tried turning on debugging in the driver, which is how I've
gotten as far as I have, but what I can't tell is how well this particular
product ID is supported. I'm using the 9.17.2 version of the hal blob.
Any ideas folks can suggest, or people I can contact for help would be
greatly appreciated. If anyone who is using this product ID
successfully could speak up, that would be great as well.
-thanks
