Hello,
with a fresh cvs of monday (kernel is 4.99.31), my cpu is burning
even when idle. Usually temperature is 40c, with the new kernel it's
more 55c. CPU is 100% Idle. I have this problem on 2 different computer
(one with pentium3, one with transmeta crusoe). Even with init=/bin/sh
and no other prog, cpu is very hot (but 100%idle).
Somebody report a 100% cpu utilisation of vmware process when guest OS
is idle. The problem is very strange: When I run a program that use a
little cpu time, the cpu temperature slow. Perhaps a bug in the idle
loop ?
Do you know if this is a know bug ? I doesn't found anything on this.
Thank you,
greetings from Paris.
