I am testing the patches of Simon Burge
This is the hardware (dmesg is at end of this mail):

current is 4.99.22 /pub/NetBSD-daily/HEAD/200707020002Z

It is a VIA C7-ULV cpu and the model is 770 or 779 (I am not sure which of them)
and both models are in the tables of est.c

In the dmesg, I can not see the lower speeds.
I am using now the low speed (800 MHz) but I would like
to reduce it for a better low-power consumption and less
heat (hardware is fanless).

The ammeter says 0.23 amps @ 117 VAC (MSI barebone (at 800 MHz),
1 DDR2 512 MB, two 2.5" IDE HDs, 1 USB ADSL modem (max 500ma @5VDC),
no kbd, no mouse, no CD-ROM, no monitor)

I will be glad for any comment... and have a nice weekend
