In case anyone's been patiently waiting for it, as of last night's
changes to aacreg.h (1.7) and aac.c (1.31), aac(4) should work on
amd64.  I've run only very basic tests on it so far, though, so
would appreciate it if folks willing to bang on it would do so.
At this point, I don't expect that it works with >4GB of RAM.  I
will be making changes for that, but don't have the necessary RAM
for testing it just yet.

I've enabled aac and the associated ld device in the GENERIC (1.144)
and INSTALL (1.70) configs for amd64.
