I stumbled across this too: apparently there have been some changes with
how libpthread is linked.  I had to do the following to set up a
symlink:

    # cd /emul/linux/usr/lib
    # ln -s ../../lib/libpthread.so.0 libpthread.so.0

That made Linux apps happy.  I just can't remember what app it was.
