ACPI powerdown works, ACPI suspend (S3) works, ACPI hardware monitoring
works:

tgen@antlia$ envstat -r
        acpibat0 present
     acpibat0 design cap: 57.600 Wh
acpibat0 last full cap: 28.140 Wh
     acpibat0 technology: 1
acpibat0 design voltage: 14.400 V
       acpibat0 warn cap: 1.407 Wh ( 5.00%)
        acpibat0 low cap: 0.200 Wh ( 0.71%)
        acpibat0 voltage: 16.589 V
         acpibat0 charge: 27.010 Wh (95.98%)
     acpiacad0 connected
     acpitz0 temperature: 49.000 degC

This all on my ThinkPad R40, running 3.99.21.

Cheers,
