I followed the instructions at
http://www.feyrer.de/NetBSD/bx/blosxom.cgi/nb_20060812_2355.html
to see what wedges are.

The kernel compiled fine and the result i got is pretty much as the dmesg from "SHINY"

If i understand correctly, this method uses "wedge over mbr/disklabel" so don't the usual
limitations exist ?

Is there any way to use wedges without mbr/disklabel partitions ?
When installing NetBSD sysinst uses the usual disklabel, right ?

If yes, i guess sysinst will be changed for NetBSD 4+ (maybe 5) to include another
method of partitioning using wedges and withoug using disklabel at all ?
