Hi!

Yes, OpenSSL 0.9.8 works with SHA2 on all other platforms I use, and it 
is included on the official source distribution, like I can see by 
browsing the files openssl-0.9.8b/crypto/sha/sha256.c sha456t.c sha512.c 
sha512t.c for example.
